Last Summer, a young pastor from India located The Abundant Life Project and contacted us.  As we continued our dialogue with him, we began to experience a call to help his ministry.  It seemed that over 250 church members were sharing only a handful of Bibles.  With proceeds from the sale of The Abundance Principle, we were able to supply every person in his church with Bibles, translated into their native language of Telugu.  Soon after the Bible distribution, we received the following note, along with pictures of the Bible distribution. 

“The Abundant Life Project changed our church with the new Bibles.  The distribution of Bibles went on very well, so well in fact, that I am unable to express my happiness about it.  Everyone was very happy and cheerful as they received their Bibles.  As I looked at them and saw every one of them having Bibles in their hands, my heart felt very much happy.  They have encouraged us very much.”   

Since that time, we have launched what we call The India Initiative, which is a special effort within the Abundant Life Project which is focused on helping this young pastor and his Christian Leadership ministry.

The ultimate goal of this young pastor's ministry is to introduce the Hindu people of India to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  From what we've seen, his ministry is being highly successful.
