About the Project When comparing social issues, Christians mirror non-Christians in statistics regarding divorce, stress, job burnout, depression, bankruptcy, debt, and a host of other social conditions. We believe that shouldn't be the case. | |
In addition, the Apostle Paul provides us with numerous recommendations for daily living. He tells us that love is patient, kind, and forgiving. He tells us that instead of conforming to the patterns of this world, we should seek to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. He tells us that whatever is true, noble, right, and pure, we should think on these things. He also tells us that we each have our own special gifts, skills, and abilities and that in whatever circumstances we are using them, we should use them as unto the Lord.
Did God choose to teach us these things through the words of Jesus and Paul only to improve our lives once we reach Heaven? Or is it possible that He gave us these instructions to improve our lives in the here and now, so that our journey toward Heaven my be richer and fuller? We believe the latter.

We believe that Extraordinary Living lies at the intersection of faith and habit. In the words of the author James, "Faith without works is dead." Religion without action is also meaningless. Knowledge without behavior-change is useless. When we develop a strong sense of faith, and then use that faith to develop positive new behaviors, actions, and habits, we begin to experience life in a totally different manner than we did previously.

The Abundant Life Project is a ministry of encouragement, designed to build up the Body of Christ. It is our intention that Christians will begin to live the way Jesus intended when he said, "I have come that you might have life...

...and that you might have it to the full!"
